Sep 12, 2018 This particular Fortnite Battle Pass challenge is part of the week 5 challenges and it tasks players with dealing damage to enemies using the Clinger, Stink Bomb, or standard Grenade. Unfortunately, it appears the game isn't being consistent in tracking the damage dealt.

Clinger was an Uncommon explosive weapon in Battle Royale that sticks to whatever it touches, including players. This grenade cannot explode in the air. After patch 5.30, the grenade would no longer detonate early, if the structure to which the Clinger is attached is destroyed. Instead, they will be affected by gravity and fall until they stick to another object or their fuse expires. Clingers did drop in stacks of 3 with a maximum stack size of 6, and could be found in Chests, Supply Llamas, Supply Drops and Vending Machines.
Mount dmg to usb mac. On Patch 7.00, Clinger was added to the vault, making it exclusively available on Playground and Creative.On Patch 7.40, Clinger returned to the game, replacing Grenades. However, Clinger was vaulted for the second time on Patch 9.00, making it exclusively available in Playground and Creative again, with the grenades returning to the game afterward.

- The Clinger is very effective at close range. Once it sticks on an opponent, there is no way for him/her to remove it, and he/she will be most likely doomed to be eliminated or KO'd, due to the Clinger dealing massive damage to its target. Even if the player misses, he/she can still lure an opponent to the Clinger as it explodes.
- Conversely, if a player is hit by a Clinger, he/she can bring down opponents with him/her by running right near them just before it explodes. Players who successfully stick a Clinger need to stay away from their target to avoid getting blown up themselves.
